Barnstable
Barnstable, which is the largest town on Cape Cod, spans an area of 60 square miles. The town is flanked by Cape Cod Bay to the north and Nantucket Sound to the south, and it consists of seven quaint villages, each with a unique character of its own. For outdoor enthusiasts, Barnstable boasts more than 100 miles of stunning beaches and world-famous hiking trails. In addition, it has three public golf courses, two of which are town-owned.
Yarmouth
Yarmouth, which is among the oldest towns on Cape Cod, is blessed with coastlines on both Cape Cod Bay and Nantucket Sound, and it encompasses three distinct villages, each with a rich history. These villages, namely West Yarmouth, Yarmouth Port, and South Yarmouth, collectively form an area steeped in history that features iconic attractions like Gray's Beach boardwalk, a 19th-century windmill, museums, historic homes of sea captains, family-oriented amusements, and romantic escapes.
Dennis
Upon entering Dennis, a serene Cape Cod atmosphere becomes apparent, featuring elegant sea captains' homes, sprawling summer houses, artists' workshops, and a fascinating history that all contribute to the town's appeal. The town of Dennis is situated to the east and west of the intersection of Route 6A and Old Bass River Road, located just beyond the gazebo on the village green. With a combination of period buildings serving as both residences and commercial offices, in addition to its breathtaking bay beaches, Dennis is an enchanting place.
