Located at the Windmill Green and Bandstand, this three-day event is packed with exciting activities that are fun for the whole family. Some highlights include a parade, a talent show, games, live music, and plenty of food and drinks. There are also raffles with fun prizes, a beer and wine garden for the adults, and a historical bike ride throughout Eastham. This is one of the best ways to celebrate the history and community of Eastham. Halloween on the Green

Annual Duck Race

The Annual Duck Race is a Thanksgiving tradition. Residents can purchase a yellow rubber ducky, and each year the ducks float down the Bee’s River. Prizes for winning the race include Thanksgiving pies, turkeys, and more.

Carols on the Green

When the snow starts to fall, Eastham turns up the heat with a fun caroling event at the Windmill Green. For the holidays, the Nauset Honors Chorus leads residents through classic carols. Holiday light decorations at the park are also in full effect for a lovely holiday atmosphere. Grab your winter coat, scarf, and hat, and head to Windmill Green for all the community fun at this event.

Light the Night

Located in a new neighborhood development, Light the Night is a fun holiday celebration with Santa himself. The event is filled with snacks and drinks, as well as games and holiday crafts. The event also features the lighting of gingerbread houses decorated by local businesses and community groups. Light the Night is the perfect way to bring in the holiday spirit and spend time with friends and family.

Candy Contest

Hosted by the Eastham Public Library, the annual candy contest will test your observation skills. Residents are invited to submit one guess each for how many candies are in a jar. Fabulous prizes are available for the winners.

Valentine's Day Card Making

Along with the Candy Contest, the Eastham Public Library also hosts an annual Valentine’s Day Card Making event. Residents can visit the library to craft colorful and creative cards to give to their loved ones. While you’re making your card, you can eye up the candy jar and try to make your most accurate guess.

Annual Egg Hunt

When spring rolls around, it’s time to get outside with the family. Eastham hosts an Annual Egg Hunt around Easter each year. Located in the quaint Wiley Park, the Annual Egg Hunt encourages residents to bring their own baskets and hunt for eggs throughout the park. It’s a fun occasion for children of all ages and helps bring out the bright and fresh energy of spring.


Earth Day Beach Clean-up

As the weather warms, it’s time for Eastham to get ready for summer. On Earth Day each year, The Department of Public Works will provide trash bags and supplies for residents to clean up the beaches and reduce local pollution. The targeted areas include Cook’s Brook Beach, Boat Meadow Beach, Campground Beach, Sunken Meadow Beach, Herring Brook Landing, First Encounter Beach, Great Pond Beach, Hemenway Landing and Skiff Hill, Thumpertown Beach, and Wiley Park.

Eastham Beach Days
